  • 1. From 26:42: "...Manhattan towards Kennedy airport and quite suddenly the concrete giants start to shrink." ending "Floor 57, the waiting lounge. We can't believe it. The waiting lounge is a perfect reproductio of the interior of an olde worlde English country pubbie. Cor blimey! Well, there's nothing else you can say for a second. There's the old familiar scene: solid oak Windsor wheel-backed chairs, splendid oak 17th century tables, great big beefy Elizabethan court cupboards, copper warming pans. I don't know whether roll about laughing or burst into tears. Well, it's a shock, you see. I mean, one minute I'm in a make-believe space-age world, surging skywards in an express lift, and the next I'm smashed back into the jolly rollicking dubbert [?] and hose world of Good Queen Beth. There's nothing wrong with either world but finding them both together just like that is such a poignant reminder of our general disputin [?] We're never at the right place at the right time, that we really don't like being where we are now and we like to think we're somewhere else."
  • 4. From 26:54: "I'll take it easy, all right. Hah! Crafty lot, my chums" ending "I press the accelerator and the slob stops slobbering and purring and starts to wobble and sob, as though it's been..."
  • 5. From 26:27: "-tree cowboy in a gold lamé suit. He was holding up a cowgirl..." ending "These two boxes are put in front of everybody to make sure..."
