Composers without Crochets is a newspaper article published in the Daily Express, Manchester edition on 10th June 1965.[1]

Extracts

Hidden behind banks of tape recorders sit the white collar composers. No piano, no manuscript paper, not a single crochet. Just a lot of dials and thingummy-jigs.... A team of eight, including a secretary, are producing music from oscillators, noise simulators, a modulator, a wobbulator...and other highly technical equipment.[2]
