Reinier Plomp is an expert on psychoacoustics, medical aids for human hearing and historical musicology.

One of Delia's Attic Tapes is labelled "Talk by R Plomp" and a note in its box "Experiments on Tone Perception".[1]

Experiments on Tone Perception is the title of his book from 1966[2] which contains a 45 rpm record in its rear pocket,[3] so the tape may be a recording of a talk and her note to get a book of his, or it may be a copy of that record.
