One of Delia's Attic Tapes is labelled Pollock and contains "shimmery sound effects".

There seems to be no mention of Pollock in her papers.

The BBC broadcast a radio programme about Jackson Pollock on 30 December 1970:[1]

BBC Radio 3, 30 December 1970 19.00

5: Jackson Pollock
I continue to get further away from the usual painters' tools. I prefer sticks, trowels, knives and dripping fluid paint....

but a paper in tape DD202's box says:

“Sound Negative Report” 21.2.74
Prod. Company, 8, 9, 10
Production: Pollock
Type of stock and Emulsion No. Zonal
System: K
Special Lab Instruc. 16/2 be from 7½, 2103/22
Tx take 2, music, tracks
210’/16 mm Zonal
signed MJ Parrish

which suggests that it was for a film, created after her BBC years, and was not used.

As for MJ Parrish, another American painter is Maxfield Parrish, but he died in 1966, aged 96, so can't have signed in 1974!
