Possible meanings
One Under The Eight was a humourous nickname for a British band The Temperance Seven specialising in 1920s-style jazz music, who achieved fame in the UK in 1961.[1]
One Under The Eight is also the title of a 1966 book by John Dennis.[2]
This tape label most likely refers to an electronic piece of music by George Newson, possible realized together with Delia.[3]
