Two trumpets, one silver and one copper, were recovered from Tutankhamun's burial chamber and on 16th April 1939 the BBC broadcast, live, the trumpets being played by at the British Museum by bandsman James Tappern of Prince Albert's Own 11th Royal Hussars regiment.[1]
Delia used this sound of the silver trumpet to create the piece Tutankhamun's Egypt.
Delia appears to have created another piece using this source recording, Tutankhamun's Trumpet.
