Organiser, Radiophonic Workshop Room 8, Maida Vale 18th October, 1971. Ext: 277/270 RADIOPHONIC MUSIC FOR "WILDLIFE SAFARI TO SOUTHERN SOUTH AMERICA" Jeffrey Boswall, Natural History Unit, Bristol. Copy to: Barry Paine, Bristol. Thank you for your memo on the possibility of us doing music for the above series. I found your suggestions very interesting, and have discussed then with the staff. It is quite possible that Delia Derbyshire, who was, of course, responsible for the Great Zoos composition, would be able to do this. It is certainly desirable that an early collaboration with the graphics people takes place, and as regards the possibility of radiophonic music fot the "middle", this is, I think, something we should leave until the pictures are available. Delia is soon going on annual leave, and should be available at the middle of November if there is anything further to discuss at this stage. (Desmond Briscoe) ES
