The Ferrograph is a tape recorder that Delia used at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
There was a Ferrograph, with an internal speaker, that just went up to 7½ ips, used for timing, pip loops, click tracks.[1]
In fact, there were two Ferrograph tape recorders at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop in 1963: one monophonic which ran at 7½ and 15 i.p.s. and one twin track which ran at 3¾ and 7½ i.p.s.[2]
