Patrick Gowers took the "original music" credit for 1969 Hamlet film, for which Delia created soundscapes and effects for the apparitions of the Ghost of Hamlet's Father.
Paradoxically, Gowers went on to be elected president of the Performing Rights Society, the UK body that is supposed to ensure that musicians are credited and retributed for their work and to protect them against having their work passed off as being written by other people.[1]
