Martin Esslin was Head of Radio Drama at the BBC from 1963 until 1977.[1]
He directed several radio plays for which Delia created sound, including:
- 1964: The Tower
- 1970: The Bagman
He was a great admirer of Delia's work, as evidenced in a letter o his to Desmond Briscoe about The Tower.[2]
